The fireworks objective is the trap in this week's Arc Raiders Trials. Old Town containers and weapon crates fit a normal raid, while melee damage and Pops ask for deliberate target selection; the airborne challenge can wreck an otherwise clean extraction. I spent more time adjusting routes and carrying the right ARC Raiders Items than chasing maximum points, and that ended up being the better plan. The rotation runs from August 31 through September 6, 2026, with five objectives and enough variety to punish players who treat every task like a separate checklist.
The Five Trials at a Glance
Trials unlock at Raider Level 15, and progress is recorded when you extract successfully. The strongest score for each objective is kept during the week, so a failed experiment doesn't erase a better result from an earlier run. That system changes the grind: bank safe progress first, then spend spare raids testing the awkward stuff. The target list is simple, but each task wants a different loadout and risk level.
Objective | Best Approach | Risk | Old Town containers | Compact building route | Low | Weapon crates | Loot during normal rotation | Low to medium | Melee ARC damage | Use small, readable targets | High | Destroy Pops | Repeat a Stella Montis circuit | Medium | Fireworks on flying ARC | Wait for predictable movement | High |
Old Town and Weapon Crates: Free Progress, Properly Managed
Old Town should be your first stop for reliable points. Move through connected buildings, check clusters of containers, and leave once rival Raiders or heavy ARC pressure turns a short loot run into a drawn-out fight. Weapon crates are best treated as bonus progress rather than the reason to cross the whole map. Solo players should favor compact areas with several possible crate locations; squads can split briefly, but everyone needs a shared extraction call. A full backpack means nothing if the score never reaches the results screen.
Plan a container loop before entering Old Town.
Open nearby weapon crates only when they sit along your route.
Keep one escape option available before starting a risky search.
Extract after a strong score instead of gambling for one more crate.
Melee Damage Needs Discipline
Melee is the week's most dangerous ordinary objective because every hit places you inside an ARC attack pattern. Small or predictable enemies are better DPS targets than the biggest machine nearby. Watch for recovery animations, step in for one controlled strike, then create space immediately. Don't build a close-range loadout around repeated trades; durability disappears quickly, and the score gained rarely justifies standing in an attack path. At least in my experience, patience produces more progress than aggression here.
Pops Are the Clean Combat Run
Stella Montis gives Pops a more repeatable rhythm, making it the natural map for a dedicated combat run. Establish a circuit, clear the targets you can reach safely, and rotate instead of searching every corner after the area becomes loud. This objective pairs well with general exploration and occasional weapon crates, but forcing melee damage into the same run can overload your attention. Secure the easy eliminations first, then decide if the next encounter is worth the noise and supplies.
Fireworks Against Flying ARC
Fireworks are the real skill check because the item doesn't behave like a normal precision weapon. Spaceport can help by offering controlled sightlines and structures that limit enemy movement. Don't chase a flying ARC across open ground. Hold a protected angle, wait until its path becomes readable, throw when the movement is committed, and retreat if another threat joins the fight. From what I've seen, failed attempts usually come from rushing the throw rather than poor aim. Reserve a dedicated raid for this task so a bad test doesn't ruin container or crate progress.
Rewards, Routes, and the Smart Weekly Plan
Each Trial has thresholds at 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 points, granting Uncommon, Rare, or Epic gear or blueprints after extraction. The rotation also connects to the Peace emote, Vulcano IV shotgun, and Shotgun Silencer Blueprint, while Season 5 continues through September 30, 2026. Run Old Town first for safe loot, use Stella Montis for Pops and selective melee damage, then give Spaceport its own fireworks attempt. Players pushing divisions should value consistency over one flashy score, and players refining a build may prefer the reward that actually fits their loadout. For supplies or a missing piece, you can also buy ARC Raiders Items, but smart extraction still matters more than any single upgrade.
